Headlight Assemblies

Mine are scratched, faded and just down right ugly. Stopped into the dealer yesterday and was quoted $264.00 for one side and $274.00 for the other!

Went online looking around and found these, $162.00 for the pair, headlight bulbs not included which is no problem as I'd reuse my existing pair. Just wondering if anyone else might have already tried them out and if so, your thoughts on them.

They should be fine but will have the same crappy light output as the originals.

They are fine, I got the black ones. Beware the clear coat is starting to come off after about a year in the intense Arizona sun.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Anyone else replace theirs? If so, with which ones?

I bought the black ones off Amazon. I like the look, but the construction quality is not so hot. Eh... I kept the originals to toy around with. And yes both oem and these have crappy light output. My fogs are brighter.

I got a fog light from headlightswholesale which was much cheaper than the Molar replacement. Once installed it was indistinguishable from the factory one.

I took my wife's car to the Sam's tire and battery dept and they cleaned the lights up for something like $39.00. They probably will do the trucks lights even better.

Yeah I've used a power buffer and some rubbing compound with good results, too.

You can also try old school toothpaste and a microfiber cloth and buff off the oxidation. Use a lot of water and keep re-applying the toothpaste until desired results are achieved.
