Question Headlight Adjustment

Hello everyone, I am new here. I just bought a new 2006 silver Quad Cab CTD 2500HD 4WD. I love the truck. I just put spacers on the front coils to level the front end out, and put 315 BFG's on it. After doing this, while driving at night, I get flashed bright lights a lot. I have found one adjusting screw on the side (inside) of the each headlight. I was assuming since it was on the side it was for left/right adjustment. I can't seem to find another adjustment for up/down. Has anyone adjusted their headlights on this model before? I called the dealer. They said they thought that one adjustment was for up/down, but didn't sound very sure. Any help would be appreciated.

The adjustment screw next to the grill is the up and down.

Thanks for the info. So is there no adjustment for left/right?

I know the earlier 3rd gen trucks had a left/right adjustment screw located between the headlight assembly and the bumper, but not sure on the '06s.

I have an early 3rd gen and it has both adjustment screws, or so i thought. I've tried both screws by turning them either way 10 full turns and the headlights didn't move. How many twists does it take to move a light??

Both of my adjustment screws work fine. Are you using a T20 torx for the adjustment?

Which way do I turn the screw to aim the lights lower?

If it's the same as the earlier 3rd gens then counter clockwise will raise the beam and clockwise will lower.

My 04 has only the up/down adjustment screw and I had the same issue when I put the 315s and leveling kit on. I just lined it up in front of the garage and guessed at how much to lower each one. Must have been pretty close not a bright flash since.
