Gvwr
Yep that's a BIG YES
When in doubt go to the DC Dodge home page and find the TOWING info guide there. It will answer all of your towing needs for all configurations on the new Dodges

Thanks for the input. That seems to be an awfully light weight 3500?? The saleman eventually found the GVWR on the door jamb and I also went to the Dodge website. Thanks!
Hmmmm!

Got to be a typo. Is is a one of those dealer typed up jobs? If it is a factory window sticker check the VIN on it against the vehicle VIN. Stranger things have happened I suppose. They do some goofy things in CA.
Actually the 9,900 GVRW is done to intentionally keep it under 10,000 for licencing and insurance reasons. Given that the only structural difference between the 2500 (9,000 gvwr) and the SRW 3500 is the overload springs I thought the extra capacity was pretty impressive.

That sticker is based on the premise that 3500s come standard with dual wheels. The Single Rear Wheel option changes that. If you check the VIN tag in the driver's door you will find the GVWR is 9900. I will admit, it is confusing, but when all is said and done, the only number that counts is the one in the door.
