Guages in

Got a killer deal on a set of DP's (boost, fp, and egt) from Kyle at extreme diesel performance. Put them in last weekend, was a little skittish of the drilling and tapping but that turned out to be the easy part. They look and work great. Was a little concerned about the fp hanging around 5 psi so I took it to back to Kyle and we bled the line of air and seems to be hanging around 7 psi now, I'll change the filter here pretty soon also. While I was there Kyle hooked up an xzillarator race and man!! I have got to get one now.. Made the stock truck feel wimpy. Probably wait till next month, bomb bug starting... Anyhow, big thanks to extreme diesel performance and Kyle for all his assistance...

I am in the process of installing mine now.I have boost connected and all the other wires routed through the firewall.Where did you mount your egt pickup? Still debating on pre or post turbo.Where did you wire your lights. Can I tap into fuse box for the yellow and red lead.?? They gave me mini taps for the fuse box in the kit, but need to get connectors for those. It has been a while for me since doing anything electical

I tapped into the manifold about 1 1/2 - 2 in above the flange on the last 2 cylinders side. Fairly simple just take your time use some grease and finish with a mag. I also had to remove the wheel liner on passenger side to make room for the drill. As far as the wiring, I have DP's so the only connection i made were to the dimmer (orange with brown strip) and ground. Chained all 3 gauges together. I think the fuse tap is for tranny temp, maybe someone can chime in on that, I have 6 speed...
