Grill Inserts

Would like to remove the grill inserts which appear to be held in place with clips. I've tried to push the snaps to release but they don't move easily ,they seem pretty stiff and I'm afraid to push harder and break them. Is there a trick to remove the inserts? Can the clips be released just using your fingers? Thanks for any help.

Most of them just pressed loose with my fingers. The ones that didn't, I used a very small (hobby sized) screwdriver to pry the area of the snap that has the lip on it while pushing it through at the same time. Once you figure out one, the rest go fast.

Your truck is new enough that the clips should still be fairly pliable, but still take your time.

Good luck.

I always knocked mine out with a rubber hammer and small screwdriver.
