Good price for dealer options?
What is a fair price for dealer installed chrome nerf bars, 31" BFG's, and the 2" level blocks? I read that some dealers won't budge on these but there has to be a big markup. Thanks.
I would look at the prices you can get them for yourself. I doubt they would go any cheaper than that.
Did you want to go to smaller than stock tires (stock 265's are closer to 32")? Most 4wd owners end up going to 33's or 35's.
The other issue is will the dealer be willing to do the work. Most dealers don't mess with aftermarket product. Mine wouldn't.
33-35" BFG AT's are in the $200-230 ea range.
2" leveling kit can be anywhere from $100 (lift spacers) to $3500(Kore Race). I did lift springs that were $230 and included new bumpstops. Added new shocks that were 1" longer.
I have Smittybilt SS step bars that were $230. You can get SS steps for $200-500 from tons of manufacturers.

invest in a good set of nerf bars.I got the mopar factory ones off ebay for 350.00 including shipping. My buddy has lavern they mount at the end of the tubes.Mine mount at 3 spots and the bars sit on top of the brackets. He told me his was just as strong or stronger then mine I had him step on mine and he got the truck to move the bars didnt.Told him now try yours you could see the bars going down as soon as he steped on them.So just keep that in mind any bars that mount just at the end of the tubes are not very strong,if anybody tells you differant there full of it.
The Mopar nerf bars are as good as any. They mount very solid and fit closer to the truck body, which I like. Dealer will probably charge you around $600.
Dealer aftermarket department wanted $580 to install Daystar 2" leveling spacers. This did include complete lifetime alignment, but a little high for a $120 kit and $80 alignment. This would not have been done or warrantied by the dealer. It did void warranty work on front stabilizer link rods.
BFG All/Terrains run anywhere from $165-$220 depending on size.
Take it to a tire shop for tires and a suspense shop for suspension. Just my .02.
