like the title reads, what are the options? I'm going to get the high idle enabled on my 6 speed. Just was curious what else can be done. I have had lots of experience with GM scantools in the past, but zero with a DRB or Starscan on a cummins. Just looking for some knowledge before I go to the dealer. Last time I was there i had to guide the tech just to change tire sizes. He tired to tell me i couldnt change them (service writer) then I said well what do you do about the power wagons???? He didnt know what to say on that...

From what i've found on the search, pretty much all i need to do is order the cummins Deutch lead, #3164263 (which i have a feeling is just a standard one, but its alot easier to just buy one from cummins than scaveging parts)Ground out #22, enable it, and thats it right?

What other options can be enabled/disabled?

You can turn on daytime running lights. Just go into the Canadian part of the tool. That is where the option is.

Can't you enable the lock the doors at 15 mph, high idle, change tire diameter, shut the seat belt dinger up, and maybe a few more.

 

Set interior lamp delay, enable fast idle, power delay after switch off for PW and radio etc., fog lamp w/ highbeam, etc, etc

 

fog lamp with high beam? now that would be sweet!

Do you guys know what areas of the scantool i need to look in? Just so i dont get any guff from the service writer or the tech. I've worked in dealerships in the past, so i know exactly how the song and dance works. Just want to know whats up.

is there any way that you can disable the horn honking when in reverse feature. that is the biggest PITA.
