So now that the new cummins has the stats patrol on there side after duramax and powerstoke junkies flaunted the specs. does that mean we prevail? even tho my truck has less hp and torque than my friends psd Ive always out pulled and raced him. so maybee the spec are just paper. ITS ABOUT GETTIN' IT TO THE GROUND ! furd and duramax will just edge us out next year thats all there focused on not the quallity like cummins. All the diesel comparisons Ive seen cummins lost! mostly due to somekind of towing gear the chevy and furd has even tho cummins won a couple test . Over all they pick cummins as third what a joke gimmie all three and a log chain and a camera and well see. How many nieve people just buy one of the three because of hp and tourqe alone gimme the cummins quallity. Does the new cummins have that fancy TOWING GEAR that everyones talking about?

People are so blinded by the numbers, the totally miss the fine print.

They don't quite see where these HP and Torque numbers are produced.

What do you want, 300 HP produced at 6000 rpm or 290 produced at 1200 rpm.

HP at one RPM, Torque at a completely different one, for the V8's.

Or our straight 6's, both HP and Torque come in at pretty much the same RPM.

That makes since phox.......................Im ashamed the last pull I went 2 a v-10 out pulled over half of the cummins with quite exuast and no smoke waaaaaaaaaahhhhhh. that goes to show about hp & torque Im not sure what the v-10 was cranking but it was enough. atleast it was a dodge

 

You forgot that I also worked for Ford for 8 years. Owned many powerstrokes. Never had problems. I just like the people at this site better. They may think otherwise.
