Ghost Rider gets new treads!
Mastercraft Courser HTR's
Saturday while I was changing my trans filter and fluid, I looked at the inside of my right front tire and saw crackes in the sidewalls all the way down to the sidewall belts! Figured I was on borrowed time! So today I purchased 6 - 235/80R17's for $993.40, mounted, balanced and new steel valve stems installed! This tire is made by Cooper and has a 60,000 treadlife warranty on them. Got them from Alton Tire in Post Falls and they even installed my ZIP™ Airless Valve Extenders at no cost!
I had gotten bids on them from $993 to $1,500 for tires including Michelin, Toyo and Cooper! No way I would purchase Goodyear or General!
They are a M&S tire but not real aggressive. That's fine for me, 95% of my driving is street and highway, very little of road.
So for you 3rd Gen Dually guys, keep these in mind. We'll see how they wear.
