SWMBO and I went to order a 5'er today. The salesman walked us down to one of the units and on the way back he asked what I had to tow it. I said your looking at it pointing to my truck just ahead. "I didn't know the 3500 came wo/duals." We talk about the truck and he was all over it. He said they had a PSD, they blew three engines on, Ford took that one back and the new one just blown other engine and was in the shop now when they needed it to haul for the Campers Show that just finished. "And It's a lot better looking then the Ford.", he said as we went inside.
During the paper work he asked questions like , how does it ride? MPG? I told him about the new 04.5's he was sold.

rjordan...I think I've seen your truck around Cedar. It is very nice.

 

I filled up today this guy started asking me questions about my truck how I liked it I said wouldn't trade it for nothing except a white one. He went on about his neighbor that had a Ford 6.0 he already blew up the motor in it twice because the injectors killed the turbo and ruined the bearings in the engine. I looked over at his truck he had a f-150 gasser he said he already had the motor replaced in it. It wasn't a new one maybe a 01 or 02 he also said the dash fell off and had that replaced. He asked about the motor mileage and the sort. He said he was going to get him a Cummins I told him pick up that new 600. Looks like another convert or either he was blowing smoke.
