Yeah. It is the Laramie. As for power pedals, don't know. It's my first Diesel, although I have driven my dad's 01 2500, but I don't know the difference. It feels pretty similar to other truck, so I'd guess they are not power pedals. Don't know for sure, but I'm going to find out.

Not sure which tranny, although it is 6 speed. I'll find that out too. Should be on the build sheet. I'm sure liking it.

Build sheet says it has a 3.73 diff. I hit 5th gear by 35 mph, yet it will cruise at 70 at 2000 rpm on 235-80-17 (31.3") tires, and get 20.3 mpg. I'm happy with that. I'll probably go with taller tires once I wear the last bit of tread off the ones I have, to lower my highway cruise rpms a little.

NV5600 HD trans. From what I read, the HD model is for trucks pushing over 550 ftlbs torque. Build code is DEE and reverse is right and up.

Power pedals move closer or farther away with a button like an electric seat does...

Yeah. I looked at my manual. No, I don't have electric pedals, nor the no-hands cell phone thingy on the mirror. I have the extendable trailering mirrors with heat, auto-dimming rear-view mirror, and the cargo sub-floor in the back, though. Cool!

I'm in the same boat. Just brought home my new 06 3500 tonight. Basically the same setup as yours without the leather.

Gotta tell ya, this is my first vehicle with leather. I'm liking it.

I'm bidding on a Bully Dog Triple Dog downloader right now. Figured I'd go ahead and complete the set, since I already have the BD Outlook Monitor. I'm guessing PO already programmed it for towing, but he had the tire size adjustment set for 35" tires (possibly to minimize the odometer reading over the long term) and I'm running 31" tires now. If he set it with a programmer, the monitor will not reset it correctly. There's no way to tell, so I'll have to get a programmer to make sure it is set right. I'm concerned that having the tire size adjustment set incorrectly may knock my fuel mileage calculator way off, as well as the speedo and odo. Not a real big deal, I guess, but I like to get things right.

Heck, I just realized that from 31 to 35" is about a 12% difference. That could mean I have as many as 233K miles, rather than 208. Ah, so what.

Actually the other way around, you would have less actual miles. If that was the PO's intent, he fubared it. If 100 revs of a 35" was a mile, then 100 revs of a 31" would be less than a mile. You would register a mile on the odometer but actually go less than a mile. Odometer would be high compared to actual.

Hours are probably more relavent.

Ahhhh! You're right! So maybe I'm at 177,000 actual miles! Naw. That's not like my luck.

That would also mean your fuel mileage is less than you thought......Ben

Well, actually, I've been getting 21.4 around town after resetting my BD Outlook for the correct size tires. At least that's what my overhead says. Not sure I really want to check manually, since I'm so happy with what the overhead says.
