will the console cupholder thingy fit w/ my 5 spd...doesn't seem like much room when i'm in 2nd or 4th.

I have one, but never was able to get the latch adjusted so it would lock with the thing installed. Tried shim washers everyway possible. Now that I have my BIG BOB CB mount it would be in the way. If you ever get to Houston let me know. I can make you a "deal you can't refuse".

 

Mine fit with the 6 sd, a little tight with a tall water bottle but it's really handy. I was able to adjust mine somewhat to latch but for me I never put up the console so no big deal. I don't know if it would fit if I did the short shift kit. Buy it, you'll like it.

 

Problem in my 04.5 was that the indentation on the Smoothie where the latch handle sits was hitting the latch handle, preventing complete closure and latch lock. Tried stacking up to 4 washers on each latch screw, still no joy. Took a Dremel and cut out the section of that indentation that sits under the latch handle, used 1 washer per screw on the lid latch (per instructions, and it works fine.
