Geno's seat heaters?

I bought the Rostra seat heaters for my 07.5 Dodge and had a few questions. I know some of you on this forum have had these heaters installed and am wondering how you like them and how you did the install? Thanks for the help.

I have them for both front seats and I have already replaced BOTH bottom heaters. Thank god Genos is a great company!!!!! I put the switch in the cigerette lighter hole, they fit great. I placed my wifes in the same location on her side. I wanted them to look very similar so I brought a cig. lighter and installed it so that both switches would have a chrome ring around them. The install is easy I took the seats out, some sat leave them in but I took the opportunity to clean the carpet that I can not reach with the seats in. Hope this helps

I would look at these, they do a lot of different factory vehicles. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, etc.

They work well! I only use them to take the chill out of the seats. The low setting for me is too warm, the wife on the other hand can sit there with them on high for ever High was waaaaaaaaaay to hot for me. So I guess it all depends on the person but they work good for me!!

Do the Rostra seat heaters from Geno's have the option of having the back/bottom turned on and just the back? Their website says so, but the switch looks like only Hi/Lo. I'm only interested in them if you can turn on just the back.

Yes you have that option, I can't remember off hand but you will only have low bottom and back or just back.

HOBrian, How did you wire the seats? Is there factory wiring waiting behind the dash and under the seat?

For the wiring since I took out the cig. lighter I used that for my power supply, for both seats. I do not use my seat for long periods, mybe 5 min. tops where my wife will leave the seats on for hours.

I went to radio shack for wire and exteneded everyone of the wires so that I could m,ount the box under the seats but pull power from behind the dash.

Wow, what an easy install. I used the cig lighter like you recommended and no problems at all.

I've had mine for almost a year and it works great so far. I only have the heater on the passenger seat for my wife.
