160,000 and have only replaced shocks. And then because I wanted to and not because I had to.

Everything else is still ok.

77,000 babied miles and front axle joints are shot and at least 1 hub bearing and ball joint. Truck is turning out to be worse truck I have ever owned.

I believe my ball joints are gone. I changed the steering gear last week, and once in a while, I still get the front end shake. Not quite death wobble, but close. Funny thing is, my tires are not wearing on the inside (maybe that's why I thought my ball joints were still good?)

I hear ya there, but it seems like a lot of guys replace the OE with better parts and get around twice the mileage before replacement.

My truck got new U-joints all around and ball joints at 130k

Also, I'm a strong believer in a steering box stabilizer to help the box last and made my truck drive about 100x better!

Has any one replaced a steering box? I made it to 173k and havn't broke anything yet but I'm doing all ball joints and tiered ends this week. The shop used all moog parts. When they test drove it they said the truck has sticky steer. With out me driving it I don't exactly know what he means. Has any one experienced some thing similar?
