Front Coils

Hello All,

I know I saw a post on this a few months ago. But in my searching there are so many coil posts I am having a hard time finding it.

I have a 07 5.9 2500 quad long bed.

In the post I saw several different options for front coils depending on what package you have. One of the things I would like to change is how soft the front is. At freeway speeds and you go over a bridge I feel like I have hydraulics due to the front locomotion. I would like to stiffen that up. I do not want a lift. I like the current ride height but realize with stiffer springs it will raise it a little. I do not know what number springs I currently have but I can check tonight when I get home.

Can anyone help with dodge part numbers and what the part number means?

Y22man you may want to try a set of gas shocks first like the Bilstein's. That should firm up your ride a bit.

Thanks for the comment lniemeyer. I have thought about shocks. And these springs are so soft it seems like I am almost bottoming out.

These shocks only have 8000 miles on them and it has been like this since new.

The differnt springs are for like the snow plow certified trucks and such.

Currently the front is like driving an old large 80 olds.
