Friends Program
Friends Program
Anyone in the market to order a new Dodge truck should be aware of the "Friends" program.. This program lets buyers who are not family to someone who works DCC purchase a new truck at a good discount. ie. 1% below dealer cost. Anyone interested in more info e-mail me at mmyers@nothnbut.net. I will try to give you all the info you need..
Re:Friends Program
Well - it sounds good, so I called a dealer I've been working with and he gave me the details.
Lest you all run down to a dealer and ask them for the Friends Program, here's what I found. First, the employee must be a DC employee so no one at a dealership qualifies. Second, the price is 1% below invoice (as opposed to dealer cost) + a $25 admin fee. So, that would come to about $325 or so below invoice. Not bad at all. In some places, people are doing even better than that, though, so if you do know someone, do your research carefully.
I guess the best part of this would be the total lack of hassle for the price. Oh yeah, your contact would also get some incentives for him/herself out of the deal, too. Each employee is limited to 4 "friends" under the program. I found it on the web here: http://www.uaw-daimlerchryslerntc.or...fm?NewsID=620.
Thanks PwrRam for pointing this out! I hope I'm not violating any rules by posting this info. I'm not affiliated with anyone or anything and I haven't specified prices, so it should be OK.

Re:Friends Program
Thats how I bought my Diesel Ram, my cousin works at the plant up here in brampton ontario. I haggled with the sales manager (i always go to the top) for a good price and then told him I was part of the "friends" program. I got my Ram about $5G cheaper. It pays to have "friends" at dodge 8)
