I have been looking for traction bars for my 2500 long box.So far nobody makes one yet ,but I saw one for the Megga Cab.& heard somewhere that the frames were the same.Are they?Could I get some bars for the megga,& install them on my long box?

 

Sorry, but no the frames are NOT the same.
I have owned both and went over them to be sure and they are not the same.
The rear frame on the Mega Cab is a short bed frame.
The front of the frame is mearly a lengthend quad frame.
While the 2 frames do share the same wheelbase, they do not share the same length. The quad is actually 2.2" longer than the Mega Cab. (I wish they would have added that 2.2" to the bed
The frame for the floor of bed sits higher than the floor of the cab, therefore the cab of the Mega would not be able to set flat on the frame.
Long story short, the Mega Cab has it's very own frame.

 

Well.Thats what I was afraid of .I guess I'll have to wait then.Thanks for the info.
