First time here
First time here
Hi everyone. This is my first time to post. I have been reading, and enjoy this site very much. I just bought a new 3500 CTD HO QC 4x4. I went a little over board I think but I traded in my 1987 Cheby S 10 2.8 L. 4x4 which I bought new in 1987
Now no one can tell me looks like someone picked that (S10) before it was ripe. I love getting to pass while hauling a load. something my S 10 couldn't do empty. I look forward to reading all the good info here.

I also say welcome to a fellow Noobie.
Can you buy another one and put 8k miles on it and I'll from you at full price? That way I can easily get that HO 3500 QC 4x4 in California. I want that truck soooo much.
We get the watered down 235 HP, it's not even the SO at 250 HP.

California really vacuums sometimes.

BYGBRI
Re:First time here
Thank you all very much for such a warm welcome! I really like this site I already checked the diffs. and found the rear 1 quart low. I would have never even thought of that, until I read all the good info. here. I let my dad drive my pickup. He has a 2002 dodge. He told me he didn't want to drive it again as he would be tempted to get a 2003! He is on his 2nd DC cummins and has had very little go wrong with them. He has a farm and abuses his pickups every chance he gets, and tows a fiver with it all the time. I nor the dealership can't belive the weight he has towed with his pickups, and has not broken anything one yet.
Sorry BYGBRI about that California stuff. I don't think my bank will loan me anymore money. I had to get my wife to cosign for my pickup as the bank is getting nerveous. They said I have bought too much this year. ie house motorcycles etc. I always thought they just looked at your credit not how much you are buying in a specified time period.
Still love the pickup. Pulled all the kids and my dirtbikes out to the track and was able to go over 75 up the hills. Really made me miss my old S-10 NOT!
