Final request - Can you lift a 2wd?
I believe others here are interested in the answer to this as well.
I had a thread on this that didn't get a response. Then, it was brought up again in another thread but didn't get much of a response there either. I've explored the net for lift kits, etc. but they seem to only be targeted to 4x4 applications.
Can you raise a (2004.5) 2wd to be about the height of a stock (but level) 4x4? Specifically, I'm interested in a 3500 QC SRW SB.
I'm planning to order this week and I can save $3500 by going 2wd instead of 4x4 but I want to be able to achieve the higher ride height (assuming the cost won't exceed $3500 to do it).
I'll assume a "no reponses" response to be a "NO" answer.
If it can be done, links or references to a supplier would be appreciated
Thanks,
Neil

I don't see a lot of aftermarket vendors making stuff to lift 2WD trucks when there is so little market for it. You can try some of the companies making these kits to see if they have anything but I think you will run into slim pickings.

I haven't seen a "lift" kit for a 2WD. There are a couple of different leveling kit available, but that will only give you up to 1½" in front. Here is a link to the leveling kits. Good luck. Mike

Looks like a leveing kit might do the trick for me (cheap too). Daystar seems to offer one that lifts the front by 2 1/2 inches. For those of you with 2wd 2500/3500s, do you feel this would be level or is that too much lift for the front without doing something in the rear as well? I would assume by "leveling kits", they must have determined that this is the right amount of lift.

Buddy with the right people and the deep pockets. you can do anything you want. FabTech has springs to lift a 1500 truck, they might work for you? California Super Trucks can and will lift anything, same goes for Camburg Engineering. Both have the ability to custom make anything, you just have to ask.
