Factory aluminum rims adv?

I'd like to swap out my stock steel rims with the polished aluminum rims. I think they look better. Isn't there an advantage to the lighter aluminum rims? Does anyone know what the weight difference is? And they aren't rated any less are they? Anybody want to swap, or have any to sell in the Denver/Castle Rock area?

I really like the Forged Aluminum Rims as well. In fact I just paid $400.00 for a set of the aluminum rims with Caps and lug nuts. They have about 7 miles on them. Someone bought a new 08 that was left over and took it to the tire shop on the way home. They had the BF Goodrich Trail T/A's with them but I did not want the tires, so the tire dealer split them for me. Said he could get $100/tire plus he would get to mount and balance them. I was really happy with my purchase until my wife came out to the shop and looked at them and asked me what those were for. Did not go so well after that.

The steel are 41lbs and the aluminum are 26.

Keep looking on Craigslist. I see new sets of tires wheels for $400-500 a set all the time.

I have some chrome alum laramie wheels (in Houston) with a set of 315 BFG all terrains mounted on them I'd like to get rid of. Just taking up space.

6500 miles on the rims and 28K miles on the tires. They are my "spares".
