Electric Mirror issues

Recently purchased '06 3500 Mega Cab. While vehicle was for sale someone threw rock through rear window which was heated window. Previous owner replaced with non-heated rear window. The light comes on for heated mirrors and rear window. Obviously the rear window cannot be heated. Problem: Electric mirrors [both] will not adjust in any direction.

Is the same circuit involved that was connected to the rear window and if so is there any wiring alternative to get the mirrors working. Local Dodge dealer wants $80 just to diagnose. Any experience I would love to hear about. Fuses are good btw.

Thanks.

My guess is that if both mirrors fail to operate from either switch, there’s a problem with power going to them.
My manual indicates there are 2 fuses for the power mirrors, #8 and #25. Make sure both are good.
After doing the test below check all connections between the TIPM and doors and track down the circuit step by step.
The diagnostic for the mirrors is:
WIRING VOLTAGE TEST
The following wiring test determines whether or not voltage is continuous through the body harness to switch.
1. Remove the power mirror switch (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/POWER LOCKS/DOOR MODULE - REMOVAL).
2. Disconnect wire harness connector from back of power mirror switch.
3. Connect the clip end of a 12 volt test light to Pin 5 in the mirror switch harness connector. Touch the test light probe to Pin 3.
If the test light illuminates, the wiring circuit between the battery and switch is OK.
If the lamp does not illuminate, first check the fuse in the Totally Integrated Power Module (TIPM). If fuse is OK, then check for a broken wire.
