Exclamation drivers door power locks

hi all, having some trouble with the power door lock on the drivers door.remote control unlocks and locks all but the drivers door.key in door does not unlock the door and when you open the door from the inside the lock button will not stay up and the handle stays up for a second and then drops back into place.could snow or ice be the problem?when you hit the lock button there is no sound from the drivers door.lock motor shot maybe?is there anyway a person could tell?and could this be covered under the dc service contract?thanx for any help or info.kinda of a pain to reach across the pass.seat to open the drivers door, plus iam worried about the doors doing the same thing as this truck only has a key in the drivers door.

I had the exact same problem when mine was about a month old! The dealer replaced the power lock solenoid for the drivers door and it's fixed since!

You'll be getting a new drivers door latch. The lock mechanism is seized. Done a bunch of them and there is a high weekly demand.
