Hey murry tell your dealership I'll buy your old truck. At a deep discount of course.

Sounds like you must be living right.

I love my truck, but would jump at the chance for a brand new one.

Was your truck the 2004 or 2004.5? If it were the later I'd keep the first

Sounds like they want to make you happy. What a great deal! Good the hear that D/C is being proactive.

Thanks to all that replied! DIESELDAZE--what a great picture. My wife and I were in stitches.

Today I got the details, and here they are. The "buy back" is not really a "buy back". What they actually do, is replace the truck.

1) It will be a 2005.

2) It will have the same equipment as my '04.

3) They will swap my Westen Nerf bars, air horn and tow mirrors.

4) Install a brand new 5th wheel hitch (they don't want to swap out the old hitch because it will leave holes).

5) Have the bed sprayed with a new Rhino liner.

All of this at ZERO COST!!. By the way, I have gone over my truck and cannot find any signs of salt water damage. The salesman said that Chrysler "bought back" the whole freighter load.

What is really interesting is that I had no complaints, and Chrysler has done this on its own.

I don't know about you guys, but I cannot say too many good things about Chrysler/Dodge.

Thanks again for your input, it really helped.

Who's paying the sales tax if you're state has it? What about the other costs I mentioned? How will they be reselling your truck?
