My defroster quit working and floor vent only blows out of my dash. I could not find a blown fuse or one that even went to the defroster??????????

 

It sounds like the doors located within the hvac plenum box are broken. There is a fix for this common issue; however, it is time consuming. Suppose it'll take a few of us plowing into something as we can't see out the windshield!

Right now it's no inconvenience at all for Dodge.

 

1 thing to try...have the fan on LOW and try to get the defrost mode working.

I have to try on average 3-4 times before it picks up. Once it does, I can adjust the fan higher without worry.

In the winter, it stays on defrost once I get it there. Sucks, but I dont' want to pull the hvac module right now.

I fixed my defroster I fixed it useing the heater tweeter and it work awesome.Thanks

 

bway1341, glad you took that route and fixed the problem the only way it can be fixed!!! Had mine in for about a year now and everything works perfectly. I'll do it again if I ever own another Dodge.
