Defrost dont Work
It sounds like the doors located within the hvac plenum box are broken. There is a fix for this common issue; however, it is time consuming. I have attached a link to the Heater Treater website which provides information regarding the issue you are experiencing as well as the parts necessary to make the repairs.

1 thing to try...have the fan on LOW and try to get the defrost mode working.
I have to try on average 3-4 times before it picks up. Once it does, I can adjust the fan higher without worry.
In the winter, it stays on defrost once I get it there. Sucks, but I dont' want to pull the hvac module right now.

bway1341, glad you took that route and fixed the problem the only way it can be fixed!!! Had mine in for about a year now and everything works perfectly. I'll do it again if I ever own another Dodge.
