De-badgeing
Goo gone didn't work for me. I had some bug n tar remover that did okay, but what really worked was some eagle one wadding polish I have. It didn't hurt the paint either. Heck, i've used laquer thinner on it before....sparingly of course.
Fishing line broke for me. I used a hair dryer and flat blade screw driver to slow pry them up. Then scraped the rest of the tape off the paint as best as possible with a wooden paint stir stick no less. Then a long time with Goo-Gone to remove the adhesive. It was a pain in the butt.
