Some prefer a 'clean' type of look to thier trucks.

Personal perference. I think it looks better on some vehicles and it is easier to clean/wax. There is no doubt about what it is or what engine it has, badges not necessary.

I removed my cummins logo on the front fender, because they were in the way of my pocket flares. But, if I were going for a minimalistic look, I would definitely debadge. Especially if you have the sport package. It gives the truck a much "cleaner", sleeker look.

Other than the Cummins badge, the OEM ones are simply fugly as well.

Because a huge out of place "2500" and "heavy duty" badge on the door looks ugly.

I'm going to debadge the tailgate because getting around the Big Horn Edition lettering is a pain in the !@#. Unfortunately I can't debadge the Ram 2500 because someone was nice enough to back a boat trailer into my door when the truck was 3 weeks old, paintless dent repair took care of everything except for one scratch that is now covered by the Ram badge. Could be worse I guess. Saw a guy t-bone a Jeep Liberty with his brand new Sierra the other day.....truck had 16 miles on it.

I didn't mind them at first. Now I am leaning towards taking all of them off except for the C logo on the front fender. It was a little easier to do my F250 as each letter was not individually stuck on. I took the "slt" and "heavy duty" off the tailgate, but I have yet to get the remaing adhesive off. I ran out of time the day I was working on it. I have tomorrow off and I will resume. What is everyone using the get the adhesive off? I tried some meguiar's paint cleaner and it worked, but took a while for what I got off. Suggestions?

Adhesive cleaner from 3m and a rag? Or if it's the rubber part, your thumb and a hairdryer...

3m style eraser wheel on your drill is the easiest and least painful.

I took everything off except for the tailgate Ram's Head, got tired...I plan on sanding the Cummins badges and then paint them black to match my truck, kind of a ghost effect or what the Sports should have come with. No my 06 isn't a sport but my 02 is and I hate the chrome badges, oh well the wife drives it and doesn't mind them so I'm not spending another 10hrs doing that one.

You spent 10 hours debadging your truck? I totally shaved my 04 in like 2 hours with a cruddy hair dryer in 40 degree weather.

Took probably all of 15 minutes to pull the door badges off my 07 including getting everything out and putting it up .

I hope that isn't what you meant?
