Darn Cats!!!
Darn Cats!!!
For some strange reason when it get real cold outside the stray cats decide to camp out in the engine compartment. I guess I would do the same thing as it is pretty warm under there, especially when the block heater is plugged in.
So I have to check it every morning before I start the truck up. I can only imagine what it would look like under there if I ever got one in the belts or fan.
So beware of the camping cats everyone.

When I started my shift tonight, part of the pass-on was last nights night shift wound up a cat in her fan. Result was a fubar'ed cat and a leaky radiator.
Think I'll check mine in the morning.

!--------- I hate Cat's this time of the year with the exception that mice and rats tend to hover around houses this time of the year looking for a warm place to sleep!
All kidding aside, I've been told several times that I seem to like critters of all kinds better than I like most people.
Guilty.....
Anybody need dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, horses?????

May I suggest a LOUD AIRHORN mounted under hood. Just give it a good blast. That will wake them up. Or just hit hit your LOCK button before you hit the unlock button. The quick toot will scare them off

At least this cat (Smokey?) lived to survive another day!
I bet he won't be going near another Dodge truck for a while!

Well if the unfortunate happens and your fan blade dices up fluffy. Pick up the carcus and bring it down to the local chinese resturant. You could probaly get .25 a pound for it

I felt my joke worked better with a visual
I had to run out late at night once to get some medicine for one of the kids and while leaving the housing plan I felt a bump, thought "I dont remember seeing anything in the road", oh well. Well on the way home and turning into the plan I see one of our kittens laying in the road, I knew then what was up whith that bump I felt. Guess the cat waited a little too long to jump out of the engine compartment. Kids think it just ran away or something.
That's why I have 2 "live" traps that I bait with left overs every night just near my truck. So far, in the 2 years we have lived on our land, the count is now at 31 kittys, 3 possums, 1 BIG fox, and 2 puppies I always have given the nieghbors a chance to claim them, but everyone keeps saying they don't own any cats. The puppies went home, the fox, I tied a rope to the door and opened it from the roof of my jeep, the possums where to greasey to eat,
but all the cats where alive when they ENTERED the traps, I PROMISE. I'm beginning to wish that we hadn't done away with the coyotes up on the hill.
The cat problem has been worse since cool weather set in, but so far, none under the hood, just scratched up hood, roof and back fenders.

Now you've done it. The feds are on to you. Don't you know that getting rid of your cat on these trucks is illegal?

(fill in the blank, don't want PETA after me or this website).
