When did yours actually get built? When did it go to storage? What's the status code?

Mine was ordered 12/8 built 1/08 and went to storage JS on 1/9, so mine will be in storage 3 weeks on Friday. I talked with the dealer today mine was supposedly held up due to the exhaust clamp issue. As on late last night 1/26 they dealer rep told the dealer that they were releasing all the exhaust clamp holds, but the dealer had to fix the problem with the exhaust clamp before releasing the trucks to the customer. So hopefully mine is at least on it's way to the rail yard.

Mine was ordered 10/15/03 then there was a production delay. It was built early december, shipped the end of dec.and has been in storage 50 miles from my house for 3 weeks plus .I dont remember all of the status codes. My salesmen would tell me the code and then tell me what it meant.Between having the first truck be a lemon and now the second truck taking forever and a day to get here its been pretty frustrating.

Thumbs up Should be here Today

Dad ordered his the first week or two of December, it was built by Jan. 4th. Loaded on train car & Shipped To SLC, were it sat for just over 1 week waiting for the exhust part. Our Dealer asked if it could be released to them to install the new exhust part & the answer war NO it could be released from the distribution yard in SLC untill the problem was corrected. It has been corrected & loaded this am for the last 250 mile jurney to our small town Dealer. Should be here in the next couple of hours
Good Luck to you guys & remember patiance is a virtue.....

Mine was ordered 10-19-03. Suppose to be in Spokane now. Should get it Friday. The dealer thinks I have the 600. Had a build date of 1-06-04. Time will tell.

I ordered mine on Dec 04 because the E-mail my salesman showed me said you could start ordering the 600 on Dec 2nd. They built it and shipped it on the 13th. Dealer called me and said they changed the invoice amount back to the old HO diesel price so it wasn't coming through with the new 600. Needless to say I was a little ticked and told him I didn't want the old HO I wanted the new one, they weren't even supposed to start production on the 600 till the 5th of Jan. He said there isn't that big of a difference in the two engines. I again told him I didn't want the old one and that I had waited for the date I could order the 600 and thats the one I want. He said OK come on down and we'll order another one. So I went back down on the 13th of Dec and ordered again. The first one that I ordered came in the 14th of Jan and the new one hasn't even been picked up yet..........Go figure, hurry up and wait but I think it will be worth it.

I wouldnt have worried about the difference between the old HO and the new 600,ther isn't THAT much difference and I would rather have an engine with no EGR......
Both will pull a house.......

No EGR on the 600s. The latest rumor is it will not have an EGR valve until the 2007 regulations take effect.
