Crazy turn signals

I had a lot of time on my hands today, so i had to get to the bottom of my crazy turn signals. I removed and took apart the multi function switch, and wiped out more runny grease than a good jerry curl, remember those. The circuit board popped right out after removing 3 mini torx screws. I wipe all the oil off the board, and clean off excessive grease dripping everywhere , and sprayed with w40(nothing to loose) . Put it back together, and it works great so far. They way over lubed the parts in there.I heard these things might be back ordered, so that's what lead me too a DIY fix. The switch is not bad , just drowning in grease.

Nice find and great pics, after all of the blinker threads I have seen here, it is nice to know that those of us handy with a few tools can fix them ourselves instead of being out of a truck for 3 days to a week!!!!!!!!!

Cheers
