cooper discoverer ht

found out that the michelin m/s are not load range E. so it looks like either the pireilli scorpion str which got good reviews ,and the cooper discoverer ht . the cooper has deeper tread depth at 16/32, 60000 mile tire and the pirelli has 12/32 tread depth at 65000 mile . I like the deeper tread on the cooper . so looking to see if anybody can share on use. such as noise , handling , ride , ect. thanks

The cooper is a good tire. They are difficult to get balanced, as my experience has been. Not to much noise, the ride is ok. Pirelli makes a good street tire for cars but I dont know much about there truck tires.

I put Cooper Discoverer AT's on my '99 in size LT265/75R16. One size up from stock. They were very good off road, for what I did, compared with the stock Michelin LTX M&S's. The Michelins were far superior on road and got better mileage. The Coopers also felt softer/rode softer than the Michelins. They are still on the '99, which Dad drives now and they have about 25k on them. Probably get about 50k out of them before they are shot. I got 125k on the original stock Michelin!!!! No kidding!!

I got the Mastercraft courser at's also in a 33/12.50/17. I absoultely love them and they ride great. Being wider like they are they grip awesome and going around curves is better too. Oh yea, they are real cheap, like 130 a piece. Buenos Noches.

Where did you get the mastercraft's? I have republic trail mark m/s on now. They have about 18,000 on them and they are almost gone. Never did a burnout with these either. They are great off-road because they are really soft, and they balanced really easily, and they only cost me about $115 a piece. I just want a tire that will last over 30,000 miles. Any other suggestions for a good cheap tire that will last and still let me play in the mud?
