Help with trailer wiring.
Hey guys, I was wondering, I am fabbing a customized car/toy hauler, I was wondering how I needed to set up the turn, and stop lights.
Do I need a separate light for my turn lights, or does dodge separate it at the plug so you dont have to run a separate turn light.
Also, I would love it if someone could tell me, and or send me a wiring diagram of the 7 pin connector for the trailer plug, thanks Joe.

As already said, brown wire is the side markers and running lights, yellow is left turn and left brake lite, green is right turn and right brake lite. Now if it was me (and it was two months ago) I would add backup lites. The backup lite feed is the center pin of the truck's RV connector and I would use purple wire to the back of the trailer. And if you're gonna have a break-away switch to engage the electric brakes should it separate from the hitch, run a red 12+ wire to the break-away gel cell battery to keep it charged.

One more thing, the electric brake lead at the RV connector doesn't work until you hook up a brake controller to the connector under the dash. You should have seen the short controller pigtail inside your glove box or armrest.
