Control Arm change need experienced advice

Needing some advice on lower control arm swap. Installing Carli arms. Have changed pass. side upper, since they are 1/2" longer I raised axle from under lower arm front bracket which rocked the housing slightly allowing bolt holes to line up nicely for the top. How do you move the axle, (have not taken bolts out yet as they seem pretty tight as in a bind) to get the bolts out and the longer arm in and bolts in the bottom arm? The truck is on the floor as the pro's at Carli said that is the easiest way to do it. They also said to use the caster/camber adjusters to push the axle forward for the bottom arm, but it seems to be pretty tough to turn and I am reluctant to get ugly with it. Im am working on it now and looking for a way to rock the housing to allow easy removal of bolts then a little further to throw in the longer arm. Any ideas will be much appreciated. Open beer getting warm, back to the grind. Thank's, John

Almost everything I have done under my truck required me to use my legs to move bolts. I would thnk your going to have to do the same thing with the axle. Get up against something solid and push against the axle an have someone slide that baby in there.

I have used a ratchet strap on my Jeeps control arms. Just put the one hook on either top or bottom of the axle depening on which way you want it to rotate. Take the other side and hook it to the frame some how.
