column shifter boot

Anyone else have a problem with the column shifter boot popping out of the plastic housing when you move the shifter? It pushes back in easily but I'm getting tired of it happening daily. Anyone have a fix? I don't want to glue it but I may. Will a replacement work better?

Anyone with a 07 or newer have this problem?

Mine cracked at the plastic frame at the bottom of the boot. I j-b welded it based on the theory I will have to break it if I need in there but it was broken anyway.

Since nobody seems to have this problem, maybe mine is defective and I should replace it. Wow, a unique problem?

Had fixed during warranty

Yes, I did have this problem. Dealer fixed it under the 3yr-36,000mi warranty.
Tech notes were; uninstall steering cover shrouds (hard plastic parts), reinstall shifter boot.
No parts were listed, assume it was just labor.
