Thumbs up 4WD Shifter Boot missing???

As of this morning, I am the proud new owner of my 3rd and newest CTD. It is a 97 3500 and my first 4wd. Slowly traded up from a first gen to a 95 2wd to my new addition. Anyway. The 4wd shifter boot seem to be missing and it is a source of a lot of cabin noise. Anyone know if this if available in the aftermarket or perhaps a part number from Dodge. Based on the noise, I am hoping that it is insulated. Thanks in advance.

Anyone no if this is the right part number. MOPAR PART # 53008998.
This may be a 5 speed shifter boot. I am not sure since I have never seen the original and 2 hours of searching has turned up nothing.

That looks like the right boot for a auto 4x4. The 5spd boots should be obvious and have two shifter boots in one i think. I'm taking my shifter boot out for my swap, it's in great shape.

If anyone is looking for one from a 96 4x4 5 spd I have on out of a truck I am parting out. Dont think there are any tears, and dont think there is a differance between the gas and diesel boots as the truck I am parting had a gas engine.

That is the 5spd boot for a 2wd drive truck. At least that is what it looks like. I have an upper and lower boot for the T-Case shifter used for an auto if you are interested. I'll sell it cheap. PM me if you are interested. Pete
