Cold front part#82208646
Hello everyone,
I found the correct part#82208646 for the Mopar cold-front, and wanted suggestions on where to buy one the cheapest? I've contacted my local dealedship with a quoted $121.00 I feel I can find one cheaper than this. Any, and all help is appreciated. Thanks-Chad

I bought mine a few years back from www.moparpartz.com, cheapest place I could find. Only took a few days for shipping too.
Good Luck

There was a pretty good picture of it, just a few days ago.
I bought the same thing but was going to take it back because there was an annoying whistling coming from the front. But a quick search here, apparently the chrome bug deflector was doing it with the added air being pushed. So I removed the deflector for the winter, and aha, no more whistle. Just keep it in mind.

Why block off the intercooler, power steering cooler, and transmisson cooler , when all you want is the engine to come up to a higher temp? Just slide a piece of cardboard behind the radiator ( not blocking the entire radiator off ) and be done with it! It doesn't even show!

How many over the road trucks have automatic transmissions with coolers? They also have intercoolers 3 times the size of ours, and can take higher egt's better. They don't typically have power steering fluid coolers either. To each his own, but MY truck has a piece of FREE cardboard that does exactly what you are trying to accomplish. Some people just have to have every accessory that has ever been made for their truck, and that's fine too. Just trying to point out that there are options besides spending $100 to $130 , and there could actually be a downside.

I paid about that price but it was more than just the cold front, it included battery heaters and a harness that wired the batter heaters and block heater in to one cord.
I would have spent more than that in time and materials putting all that together on my own. Unless I went with the cardboard method of course.

Moparpartz (link above good) after nearly five years
was still the cheapest place I could find for the MOPAR winter front. Other places wanted as high as $180 + ship. $116 total for mine, with shipping.
