Chrome bumper dent?
Chrome bumper dent?
Anyone ever tried to fix a dent in the rear bumper? I have one that stands out like a sore thumb to me. I have thought about trying to hammer it out with a dead blow hammer but I was afraid the chrome might start to peal. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I had a dent in a front bumper (chrome) a few years ago. A guy had a service where he came out to my work and for about $60 took the bumper off and put it in a support on his tailgate. He used a hydraulic jack to push the dent out a little at a time. Worked great on that truck for a quick cheap fix. It didn't hurt the chrome at all. Think the name on the business card was "bumper man"

Thanks for the info, I will see if I can find somone in my are who has the same service. I just didn't want to create a bigger problem than I already had.
