Boatpuller, I work for a dent removal company. I however do not do the dents. I repair scuffs on alloy wheels.

A couple of things about paintless dent removal

Not all dents can be repaired . Someone really nailed and put a "dimple" on the side of my bed before the bed rails. It is on the seam. May require a collision expert.

If it is on the seem and curves on your body of your vehicle, many times it cannot be repaired.

If you are desperate and you have to have it out, expect some paint cracking from the metal/fiberglass being streched. Again if it is that bad.

Drilling may be required to get to the dent.

It may take 3 min. to repair or 30 min.

Price varies from $50 a panel and up. Hail damaged cars equal big headaches but demand big $$$$$$$$

There are good companies and bad companies. Go to a dealership and see who they recommend

* Just to let you know we are a dealerships best friend.

Good luck!

I had 3 good humps in the hood of my fury due to a cherry pick mishap (don't ask), paintless guy got them out and you'd never know they were there. He said, usually, as long as the paint isn't already cracked from the impact, you'll never be able to tell when he's done with it.

Dent Wizard experience here. My dent was a 4 inch dent in the upper passenger side of the bed 3 inches below the top, ending just below the fender contour caused by a piece of wood. The guy came to my house on schedule, looked at it, said he would do his best, would be glad to give me some references and would come back another time or do it now for $100. Because it was on the contour it would take an hour or two. He was done in an hour and a half. It was hot, and I watched over his shoulder. I would hire him again in a minute, the dent is completely gone. Car wax removed the remaining scuff mark that was caused by the piece of wood that made the dent. I gave him a $25 tip. Nat

I had a big dent in the side of my bed, in front of the fuel filler, about in the middle , the dentless guy said he didn't know what he could do becuase he couldn't get behind it, but he said he'd try, and give a discount if not 100%, he got it to about 90%, you have to look real close to see anything,he charged $85, down from $120 if 100%. I am very happy with it, a real body shop wanted $600, said they'd have to clearcoat the whole side of the bed.

Not sure where your dent is, but we had a hail storm one time and it put several dents on the top and hood of the truck. We waited for a hot sunny day, parked it out in the open and let it get hot, we then took small pieces of dry ice and placed them on the hail dents. They popped rite out and you can't tell anything was ever wrong. The trick was letting the truck sit in the sun and get good and hot.
