Cheap anti-theft with auto

I seem to remember a while ago a thread about using the wiring for the safety switch on the clutch pedal (which is just permanently jumpered on an auto) to make a cheap way of providing a "no start" option if you disconnected the jumper.

Anybody ever do this, and did they remember how (wire colors/location), or can someone with a wiring diagram help out?

I just flip the lock up switch for my converter. The truck will act normal in reverse but immediately stalls when you put it in drive.
