Changing out the seats???

I know there are a bunch of threads on the seats of the 3rd gen trucks so I will not go to deep into that. what I was wndering is if any has or thought of replacing them with a aftermarket seat, for example these or maybe even the Mastercraft seats.

I found some nice VW seats. Have pic's in the gallery. Not a 3rd gen but way nicer than the stock seats. Long drives are so much more enjoyable now.

Some thoughts: I've not changed them out, but I did have the dealer replace the foam cushion under warranty--no charge to me. They are better, but of course it does not solve the problem of this is just a bad seat design. If the padding bothers you, I'd ask them to change it out-- it is a slight improvement.

You should read some of the threads on the new 06 and go drive one. The seats are supposed to be better. I would think once these parts are available, it would be a good swap out possibility--I would think they would fit.

Good luck
