go to your local big rig tire shop... You would be amaized at the selection of 19.5" tires... If you want check out the michelin website... I looked and found an xde m/s in a 245/70/19.5 that ends up about 34/10/19.5 and is pretty aggressive. it is hard to locate tires on their web but go to the tire shop and they will be able to find whatever you want.

Mmmm 19.5's... A direct bolt on would be pretty cool. You could put 19.5's on your rig for a little less money now since you wouldn't have to buy those expensive adapters...

I think 19.5's are perfect.

the 245's are only about 33" tall really... you can get 265/70/19.5's that are 34" or so and there are some 285/70/19.5's that are 35"...

with the price of fuel going as is, i was thinking of going 20x9 and some 305/55/20's, but to help fuel economy out, if i could find a nice looking srw 19.5 wheel, maybe go with some goodyear g124's in 265/70...?

The amount of money that you'll spend on the wheels and tires certainly won't be offeset by the fuel that you save... not to mention the fact that the increased rolling resistance will probably decrease your mileage.

That said, I wouldn't mind a set of 19.5s on my truck, but I suspect I'll just stick to the factory 17s.

i am not expecting it to offset the price of fuel. but i want to go with larger wheels [in the 20"range] but i am expecting 265's to have less rolling resistance than 305 or 325 tires [or the 315's i have now] i do like the tall/skinny look, but there is very slim pickings for 34-35" tires in 17" range that are skinny..
