Cardboard vs. geno's winter front vs. mopar winter front
Any one have experiance with all of these? I want to get one and i'm not sure what to do. I'd prefer a real one (non card board) and i've heard the mopar one is expensive but I don't know how much. Is the mopar one different than the geno's one? TIA
Check out the thread about "electricity use on block heater" for pic of the mopar one. Also check out the Geno's website. I think they function the same way, may be the mopar one is a little bit more efficient since it covers more.

I've used the cardboard and it works very well up here in NY. It's also easy to pull out if you have to, you can put it in and take it out in under 3 minutes and doesn't collect ice or snow. Fits neatly between the radiator and the intercooler. All I do is fold over the excess on top and that keeps it in place.

Does the cardboard deteriorate after it gets wet? How much of the rad do you guys try to cover? I need to do this myself since I'm still running the 180 stat and don't feel like pulling it out again.
I've tried the cardboard one, but when it gets REALLY cold, I mean REALLY, REALLY cold. The -40 ambient temperature and then the windchill on top of that put it into the -50's, the absolute best one I've found is the mopar winterfront.
When I took it out in the Spring it looked just the way it did when I put it in.
