Can you get H2 wheels/tires from dealer
I'm fiding alot of H2 tire/wheel sets for $800 on eBay but do not feel like dealing w/ shipping.
Do dealers do alot of the tire/wheel swaps? How do I go about finding out if some would have some on hand that they would part w/ cheap?
BTW, I am in NJ & spend alot of time in the Northern VA area so if anyone out in these parts knows of some, please let me know!
Thanks.

Mark,
You can get H2's at dealers but they may be more expensive. You can also go to tire and wheel shops to ask about them. Some shops get them in on a fairly regular basis and sell them. One tire shop I found had a set stashed in the back. But the best may be e-bay. Just find a set near you and pick them up. It sounds like they are getting more popular with prices up around $800! Be patient.

when I buggered up a wheel on my Cherokee the dealer wanted close to $450 for one wheel. I dont imagine that the GM dealers will be any less. Shipping is cheap compared to buying from a dealer.

I have a buddy that has access to quite a few sets of H2 wheels still with the BFG's on them....brand new....his friend works for a GM dealer where people by the H2 and want the rims changed, so they leave there stockers at the ***********, well he sells them, usually for $600 rims and tires....
maybe you could find somewhere like that to.....

Call your local Hummer dealer and ask if they've got any take-offs. Probably half the Hummers you see have aftermarket wheels and tires, a lot of these are dealer installed. I hit paydirt with one phone call, $150/each for tires and wheels, or just tires for $100 each.

as far as offset and back spacing the h2 wheels are 5.5 inch back space as apposed to 6 for the dodge and 8.5" wide as apposed to 8. Not exact but closer than any others in the same price rang. the only correct wheel is $500 each

I just got a set of 4 H2 rims, to use on my jeep, not my dodge.. paid $200 for the set of 4, and the guy delivered them to my house since he was local to me.
