My father's 5th wheel trailer's Neck can raise and lower, I have a 2005 2500 4x4 with the superlift 6in lift kit with 20's on 37's.

 

I Could not tow with my 04 with a 6inch superlift but that was a gear box fifth wheel not adjustable thats why the max im going now on my 06 is 4

 

So if my fathers is adjustable do you think i might be able to tow it? with the 6in lift?

 

With the combined height increase from the lift and tires, I would not think so.

Just remember that you will need at least 6 inches (8 is better) from the bed rails to the bottom of the 5th wheel frame. You might have to adjust both the pin box on the 5ver and the hitch in the truck to get the needed clearance. My truck height is stock and with 35" tires, I have about 6-1/2" of clearance.

 

I'd say no, you can't do it, unless you lift the trailer 6" also.

 

darn, you eat me to it! trailer would look good with some 35" boggers

 

flipping the axles upside down is another option i have seen it done on older trailers just a thought cut the boggers would be SWEET

 

I pull a 26' gooseneck with my truck all the time but it has an extended neck. Just have to be careful in a field here in the mountains.
