The seat in my 96 was great i have had three (still have two) 2001's and the seats are nowhere near as good.
In fact i am taking a short break while in the process of installing an air seat in my truck now. heading to Ar and California when it is done so hope it is better

I also think for the price of these trucks, the seats could be a little better. I have had 2 un-sucsessful back operations, and when I drive for more than a half hr, my legs and back start bothering me. I tell ya, one of the most comfortable seats I ever sat in, and your gonna laugh , was my grandfathers 89 Grand-am!! Those seats formed to you in every way.

I also notice, when I drive my Ram, My Butt seems to be Really sweaty when I get out. (Yea, I know, let he comments begin ) Must be something with the material.

I think that these seats could of been a little better designed and padded.

About the whole wallet thing, First thing all my back Drs. asked me was where do I keep it? They all told me to keep it in front pocket because when you sit on it in your back pocket, it shifts your spine. They even had a diagram and an X-ray showing a person sitting on a wallet in there back pocket, was very interesting to see. My wallets been in the front pocket from that day on.
