I like the 315s but if they weren't as wide I could get a little more mpg. Is it possible to get a 17" tire 34" tall but only 9" or 10" wide?

 

superswampers ltb's... you can get them in 34x10.5's... bias and agressive...



that's the only tall/skinny 17" i can think of

 

The LTBs are a nice OFFROAD tire but for towing they won't do well, and will wear out FAST. Probably less than 25K if you are lucky.

 

That's a tough looking tire but I agree that they probably won't last long. I guess I'll keep looking or I'll be buying some more 315 BFGs....

 

I think the tire manufacturers are missing out on a market here. I firmly believe that there are many people out there that want a taller tire, without the width. I would love to have a 35" tall, 10" wide tire. The Swamper LTB's are the closest thing that you can get, but they are bias ply and wouln't work well under the heavy weight of the engine.
