A/C selector not working

A/C selector not working

Well it is stuck on the face selection. I move it to defost or feet and nothing happenes. Everything else works but that. Anybody know if it is a vacume system or a electical.

My 06 is having the same problem, goes in thur. will let you know what they say. Only 6000 miles! I see similar problems with the hvac system on these boards, pretty sad.

jester it a vacum problem.I have a 2000Ram 5.9.Look for a small canister with a vac hose in top and out bottom.It should be about the size of a 35mm film canister or smaller.Mine is located near the firewall on the left side of motor.hope this helps.you can get a smaller replacement at Napa.

Your '03 works on electrical, not vacuum. Check out http://www.hemitruckclub.com and look in the left hand collum for the Shop Manual for your truck. It is a hefty download though, about 84 Meg or so.

Yeap, it is electrical. Sounds like an issue with the Mode door. May be the motor or a broken door.
