My shift selector does not highlight on dash in reverse or drives , but does highlight in park and reverse ? goes in all gears just fine. was in a fender bender , replaced bumper and grill and 1 headlamp, pretty minor seeing these things are all plastic , no sheet metal damage . could my shaft going to trans need to be adjusted ? I just don't understand why park and neutral light up. Thanks

2006 Dodge Diesel automatic ,4x4

 

All of my indicator lights have stopped working. I assume the position sensor is gone. Still shifts into all gears... Just no lightshow.

Also surely related it is stuck in 4lo. I assume because the transfer case can't shift without knowing the tranny is in neutral??
