A/C Problem...

Hello All, newbie from Texas and need some help before summer gets too hot. I feel like something is icing up in my A/C system.

Symptoms -
While driving with the A/C on, anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour of running, air flow seems to gradually diminish until there is no flow out of the vents. The fan is blowing at all settings (sounds like it's blowing in a barrell) and if I turn off the A/C and run the vent (sometimes turning up the temp), eventually airflow returns... Then the normal outside temp comes through the vents, slightly cooled, as if outside air is flowing over an iced up evaporator? At this point I can also turn the A/C back on and it works fine until the process repeats itself. Additionally, when A/C seems to be freezing up and I stop and turn off the engine...ie at a service station...a large amount of liquid continues to exit the drain tube as it sits not running.....as if the ice is melting? So my questions: Is it likely that the evaporator icing up is what is happening. And what causes this? Is this a problem common to the Dodge?
I hope I gave y'all enough info. Thanks so much,

Mark

Have the system checked for correct pressures, that is usually what cause's the iced up evap.Might have to add some charge to it.

Also the sensor may be bad in side the hvac unit behind the dash. It may need to be relocated as well. there is a TSB or service memo on it. This is if the recharge doesn't fix it.
