a/c at idle reflash?
My truck has developed the no cool at idle problem. The compressor short cycles about every 5 seconds. Hopefully it is just low on freon. Noticed that there is a TSB on this. Trying to get feedback from people who have had the reflash done or the problem fixed before I let the dealer get his greasy paws on it. Thanks, John

I have the same problem. Mine cycles at idle ... don't know about highway running as I can't tell. Its cool on the highway but blows warm to cool air while sitting/idling. Its unable to keep the cabin cool on a 80+ deg day which tells me something is wrong. It also shouldn't cycle that much.
Service guy said it's probably a leak so they'll recharge and add die then come back in a few days. He didn't say anything about a TSB so I'll ask.
Let us know how you make out...

I guess I'm just concerned about any problems after the reflash, being a furd man and all. When I was an the furd site I heard nothing but horror stories when people had their trucks reflashed. I don't remember it acting up last summer so hopefully it's just a leak.
P.S. Not a furd man anymore.
