Hello all. I had my truck in for warranty service, LP was bad. The ******* told me that they HAD to reflash the computer. Thats fine, but, now the truck idles at 900+ rpm. It used to idle @ around 700. So, when you put it in gear, it lurches, I think its idling too high. The dealer says its fine. Any thoughts or ideas to lower the idle? Thanks.

 

Idle is controlled electronically on 24V's if I'm not mistaken. Use the chain of command at the dollarship to see if they will correct it, but my experience tells me they won't.

 

Yep 900 idle and 800 in gear! Should feel how hard the DTT 89 engages.
